Fünf Seen Film Awards: the Jury

We thank the members of jury at the Fünf-Seen-Filmfestival in the various film contest categories for their engagement.

EDGAR REITZ
Born 1932 in Hunsrück, director. His first feature film in 1967, which introduced the “new german film”. Reitz is the founder of several co-productions. Some of his most renown films include Cardillac, Die Reise nach Wien, Schneider von Ulm and the Heimat-Trilogie. Reitz is member of several academies and has won many awards in recognition for his work.

DAGMAR WAGNER
Film director and scriptwriter for motion pictures and documentaries (“Das Ei ist eine g’schissene Gottesgabe” - Bavarian Film award).
She is also an author for private biographies.

THOMAS DACHINGER
Actor, author and member of the German Film Academy. Dachinger grew up in Herrsching.
1993 he established his own Theater group (Theater d-formation).
Starting 1989 he has played in over 150 motion pictures and TV films.
Dachinger is an Adolf-Grimme prize winner.

SUSANNE PETZ
Independent film producer, starting 2008 with her own label “Die Freibeuterin”, located at the Starnberger lake. Petz is a guest lecturer at the Munich Film School (aka Hochschule für Frensehen und Film München) in the specialist division of documentary film. Petz is the president of “Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dokumentarfilm” (AGDOK) in the bavarian region.

NORBERT BEILHARZ
Born 1939 in Haifa.
Director, producer and scriptwriter. Starting 1969 he has been involved in 160 films and journalistic works. His main themes include acting, opera, ballet, literature and music.
